Nicole Watson
Nicole is the founder of Econic Earth, a nonprofit organisation focused on environmental conservation, by bringing solar-powered solutions to students and communities living without electricity. With over a decade of experience leading off-grid energy programs, she specializes in using clean technology to improve educational outcomes, safety, and wellbeing in last-mile regions. Her flagship initiative, WATTS ON: Lighting Students’ Lives, has empowered thousands of students in Africa with access to solar light for evening study and learning.
Nicole holds an MBA in Sustainable Business, and has over 20 years experience in the film industry. She combines field-based experience with a strong background in storytelling and systems thinking. As an advisor to iLearnabout, she brings deep expertise in off-grid infrastructure, energy access, and education empowerment to support digital learning in underserved communities.
